heidikins cooks

My “real life” blogging can be found at heidikins.com, this blog is strictly to document my adventures and misadventures in the kitchen.  It should be noted, while I am O.C.D. about keeping my spices in alphabetical order, I am considerably less anal about measurements and ingredients in recipies.  I substitute quite regularly and it is rare that one of my final products was created by strictly adhering to the recipe, except in pastries…if I made pastries.  Many of my measurements are approximate, and I tend to do a lot of my cooking on the fly.  I am well aware that this methodology will render more kitchen disasters than culinary masterpieces.  But hey, cooking is supposed to be fun, right?
